The term "Cordon Rouge" champagne bucket refers to a vintage ice bucket for the G.H. Mumm champagne, which is not a separate item but an homage to the house's iconic "Cordon Rouge" champagne.
 
The history dates back to 1876 when Georges Hermann Mumm added a red ribbon to bottles of his Brut champagne to honor distinguished clients and symbolize the French Legion d'Honneur. The "Cordon Rouge" became synonymous with the brand, representing excellence and prestige.
