With a strong background in retail, Hiata realized her passion and unshakable love of the vintage hunt was more than a passing interest. Hiata turned her passion for the stories objects carry into a thriving business: Winifred & Evalyn. Her treasure hunts start in New England’s flea markets and extend to the brocantes of France, where she has uncovered treasures rich with history and character. Hiata brings together vintage finds with heritage textiles and block printing traditions from around the world, bridging craftsmanship across cultures and generations....a journey she invites you to experience with her.

Maria
For Maria, the heartbeat of her work lies in Indian textiles. Over the past four years, she has spent half of every year living in India with her husband, developing close relationships with artisans, sustaining small-scale craft traditions, and honing the systems that keep creativity running smoothly. With a background as a travel advisor and travel admin and a deep respect for heritage craft, Maria creates the framework that allows each piece to travel from the artisan’s hands to its place in a client’s home in addition to building rich itineraries to allow everyone an opportunity to experience heritage adventures.
